Should Your Cat Sleep With You?

Let's look at the flipside, shall we?

  • They purr and it could be just the white noise you need to fall asleep
  • Cat hair on the bed? Where isn't there cat hair when you're a cat parent? That's no concern
  • They might wake you up and want to play. Hey, your kitty loves you!
  • Your cat loves you and wants to be with you. Who said they are aloof?
  • If you get a kitten and she is all alone, you may become a surrogate "mother" because she is afraid and likely missing her kitten littermates
  • If you lock them out of the room they might scratch to get in!
  • Sharing your bed and getting into a bedtime routine with your kitty could be comforting for you and him (or however many you have!) And in these uncertain and odd times, isn't it lovely to have that companionship?
  • Petting your cat as you fall asleep will help alleviate stress.
  • They. Love. You! 'nuff said!
